Teaching Philosophy:
John believes that the foundation of effective training is the connection between instructor and student. His philosophy has been shaped in part by FBI-LEEDA Leadership training and Martial Arts background which emphasized the importance of mentorship, communication, and empowering others to succeed.
Every class is built around the student’s growth, safety, and confidence. By understanding each individual’s strengths, challenges, and goals, John fosters an environment where learning is meaningful, interactive, and applicable to real-world situations. His instruction emphasizes not only technical skill and real-world experience, but also decision-making, composure, and responsible use of force.
